Electric vehicles models eligible under the Delhi EV Policy
E-Cycles
- E-cycles are eligible for a purchase incentive of 25% of the MRP (not exceeding INR. 5,500 per vehicle).
- An additional INR. 2,000 to the first 1,000 individual owners of e-cycles
- E-cargo cycles are eligible for a purchase incentive of 33% of the e-cycle price (not exceeding INR. 15,000 per vehicle).
- A scrapping incentive of ₹2,000-₹3,000 subject to evidence of matching contribution from the dealer/OEM
Two-wheelers
- Purchase incentive of ₹5,000/kWh of battery capacity; not exceeding ₹30,000/vehicle.
- Additional scrapping incentive of up to ₹5,000, subject to evidence of matching contribution from the dealer or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
E- Auto Rickshaw
- Purchase incentive of ₹30,000/vehicle on buying e-LCV
- A scrapping incentive of up to ₹7,500 subject to evidence of matching contribution from the dealer/OEM
- Eligible for a 5% interest subvention of on loans and/or hire purchase scheme
Four-wheelers
- Purchase incentive of ₹10,000/kWh of battery capacity for the first 1000 cars Cap of ₹1,50,000/vehicle
- Delhi crossed 1000-car mark in August 2021, incentives on e-cars subject to further notification of the Delhi Government
Light commercial vehicles
- Purchase incentive of ₹30,000/vehicle on buying e-LCV
- A scrapping incentive of up to ₹7,500 subject to evidence of matching contribution from the dealer/OEM
- Eligible for a 5% interest subvention of on loans and/or hire purchase scheme
E-Rickshaws & E-Carts
- Purchase incentive of ₹30,000/vehicle on buying e-rickshaw or e-cart
- E-rickshaw and e-cart, based on advanced batteries also eligible for a 5% interest subvention on loans and/or hire purchase scheme
EV dealers in Delhi
The eligible electric vehicle models under the Delhi EV Policy can be purchased from the list of eligible vehicle dealers as approved by the Transport Department of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
